Abstract

Vertical housing represents one of the most important ecological aspects in communities and the reason for the existence of this type of housing is due to the high population density in cities .which requires the adoption of this architectural style because it is smaller and more housing space by hand, and that urban life requires some kind of sophisticated and modern buildings as a model of modern life and the progress in the construction of the second hand buildings. Although the vertical housing is a solution reference for the housing crisis it caused a set of effects that were reflected on the family and the child's environment, where living life in the narrow flats produced many problems due to the mingling of families ,and friction of children with each other (fight , deviation ……) add to that, the vertical housing sometimes become unsafe as a result of thefts and offences. Accordingly, this article comes to look for the relationship between housing quality of vertical housing and the reality of social interaction between families by revealing the reality of social interaction between families, neighborly relations, socialization of children, besides physical and technical elements of housing.
