Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the locations of selected primary schools and their relationship to the aggressive behavior of the pre-school child, and to study the differences between them by assessing the gender variable. For this purpose, the study was applied to a sample of 80 children and girls in the preparatory class. For the purpose of collecting data for the study, an observation grid was constructed to measure the child's aggressive behavior and adapt a scale to assess the location of schools. Using the "Spearman for Ranks" correlation coefficient and the "T" test to study the differences between two unrelated averages and two unequal samples, we achieved the following results: The presence of a statistically significant inverse relationship between the assessment on school location and the aggressive behavior of the child in the preparatory class; There are no statistically significant differences in the levels of aggressive behavior between the two sexes; In the end, this research is concluded with a set of proposals, the most important of which are the following: fighting against traditional thinking in the creation of schools, which is based on the separation of artistic-technical and pedagogical facts in the process of designing and constructing these buildings; The participation of specialists in education’s fields and teaching in the decision-making process for the choice of location of the school building and to give their opinion on certain standards and specifications helping in the teaching and learning process related to the school building and the spaces it offers; To provide equipped sports fields that are suitable for student users, in order to provide the necessary space for the development of the child.
