This paper dealt with the position of Sheikh Larbi Tebeci in the Algerian liberation revolution, the tasks and roles he played in secret and in favor of it, and how he insisted on staying in Algeria despite the urgent request from the leadership of the National Liberation Front to leave Algeria to continue his struggle abroad when it felt that his life was in danger ! The research also shows, through some testimonies and reliable sources, the sheikh's sincere patriotism and rare hardness in front of the maneuvers of the colonial administration, which tried to draw him to negotiate a ceasefire, when she realized that the sheikh was a supporter of the revolution and that he was one of the movers of its popular bases. Sheikh and his hardness as a reason for his abduction and assassination by the colonists in April 1957. The basis that we set out for the research is to answer some of the problems raised regarding the position of the Association of Algerian Muslim, and the role of its prominent members during this period, and why the association did not declare its explicit support for the revolution from the beginning?
