A descriptive reading of argument theory: the concept and the limits of employment

Abstract

This article attempts to provide a reading of the subject of the pilgrims in the Western achievement, and to link it to the Arab heritage, with a group of Greek and Muslim scholars, in both the heritage and modern frameworks. its mechanisms in some cases, and the need for this in-depth descriptive reading has increased, to adjust the concept of the term and reveal its peculiarities, starting from the moment of its birth, which was characterized by confusion in the naming, to raise issues of its operation, indicating the boundaries separating it from the terms associated with it in terms of controversy and inference, and the terms in their entirety represent An integrated historical encyclopedia of theories of pilgrims. Passing by, on the other hand, presenting the most important unique historical stations that he went through, where the power of the word is manifested in the discourse alone, it is the stage of the formation of opinions and the beginning of the emergence of political and philosophical doctrines...

  In the end, the actual argumentative theory was born, in its modern concept, with the Belgian scientist (Chaim Perlman) and his colleague (Tatka), in their attempt to renew the rhetoric of (Aristotle) and rid it of logical and formal, and that it is not limited in dealing with legal issues, but rather extends them to all areas of life. Ethics, along with the word, became an essential part of its formation, not just a secondary accompaniment.

In conclusion, it becomes clear to the reader that the modern argumentative theory in the Western achievement has gone through intellectual, cultural, social, and political precursors, which were milestones towards its emergence as a new science in the modern pragmatic lesson at that time.
