Shari’ah Education: Reformist Vision

This research includes the manifestations of the crisis experienced by sharia education in our educational institutions, despite holding of many conferences, and authoring a great deal of scientific research, articles and books in this context. The causes of this crisis are referred to the student, teacher, literature, course plan and the academic program. Furthermore, this research illustrates the reasons why the students refuse to enroll in the sharia science program; for example, the reasons vary from psychological to social and political reasons. This research also shows the necessity of tackling this issue and dealing with its causes. There are many solutions to address this problem. First of all, keeping education independent and free from all external influences. Secondly Treating the student psychologically and morally and curing the teacher's knowledge, values and methodology. Finally, improving the course curriculum, study programs and educational community is highly essential to reform the education. In conclusion, this research recommends taking care of sharia education and provide it with financial and moral requirements in order to rise again.
