Abstract

The deep changes that the third millennium, universally adopted, has seen in terms of measures for marginalized groups, including persons with mobility disabilities, are of a quality with regard to the worldwide achievements, to improve conditions and build assets for this category of persons, with a view to achieve equality away from discrimination, by drafting and approving the agreement of the International Convention of Person’s Rights with Disabilities in all its forms in 2006. The main purpose of the Convention is to strengthen the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities, to ensure their dignity and to guarantee the fundamental freedoms and their enjoyment of all human rights including schooling. For six years, the school environment embraces the child from an early age. It is considered the most important phase of a child's life, given its role in the formation of his/her personality and the refinement of his/her talents. While the needs of the disabled child require greater efforts and more resources with regulatory assistance dedicated in his favor for architecturally rehabilitated educational institutions from the outside to open spaces and also pedagogical spaces, so that he can attend school independently and be able to overcome the psychological barriers that reinforce his physical disability and inhibit his initiative to learn and acquire skills.
