Green Spaces and Their Importance in Children's Lives in the City of Constantine

Abstract

Green spaces are of vital importance to any city aiming to improve the quality of life for its residents, especially children. These spaces are not merely areas for recreation and entertainment; they provide a safe and inspiring environment for sustainable living. This study aims to highlight the significance of green spaces in children's lives within the city of Constantine, investigating the role of these spaces in promoting physical and mental development, as well as enhancing their social and psychological skills. The study adopts a descriptive approach to describe and analyze the current state of green spaces in Constantine and their importance in children's lives, while exploring how they contribute to their well-being amidst the urban challenges faced by cities today.
