https://www.asjp.cerist.dz/en/PresentationRevue/499
Authors are required to submit their article files in Word format via the ASJP platform. This can be done by clicking on the "Paper Submission" icon on the left side of the screen on the ASJP platform. After obtaining a username and password, research documents are submitted by clicking on the "Submit Article" icon.
- Guidelines for Authors
Authors are encouraged to carefully read the following instructions and follow the recommendations. The Editor-in-Chief has the right to return articles that are not submitted in accordance with the stated guidelines.
- Preparing the Article
To expedite the publication process in the "Journal of Architecture and Environment of Child," authors are invited to use the journal's template (Template) (which can be downloaded directly from here or via the ASJP platform under the "Instructions for Authors" section on the journal's website).
- Submitting the Article
After writing the article according to the journal's template and reading the author guide, click on the "Submit Articles" icon.
When you click, a form will appear. This form contains information about the article and the authors: article title; abstract; keywords; full name of the author; affiliation institution; email address (if there are other authors, their information should also be filled in), and finally, suggesting "reviewers".
Once the form is filled out, upload your article to the platform, and then click on the "Submit Article" button located at the bottom of the information form.
- Article Submission Confirmation
If the submission process on the Algerian Scientific Journals Platform (ASJP) is successful, a message will appear on the screen indicating this. The author will receive an email notification confirming the submission, and co-authors, if any, will also be notified.
- Article Rejection Notification
If the submitted article does not comply with the template or does not adhere to the stated publishing conditions, it will be rejected, and the author(s) will be notified of the rejection.
- Article Evaluation
Stage 1: The article is reviewed confidentially by the editorial board of the journal, which meets regularly and intervenes in the pre-evaluation stage to decide on the eligibility of the articles before sending them to the assistant editors. If the decision is negative, the article will be rejected on the platform, and the author will be informed of the reason for rejection. Considering the provided recommendations, the author may resubmit the article.
Stage 2: If the article is eligible for evaluation (prepared according to the journal's template and in compliance with the publication conditions), it will be encrypted and sent to reviewers or to the assistant editor in the relevant research field, who will in turn send it to two (or more) reviewers within their network. The responsible reviewers will evaluate the article according to a standardized evaluation form available on the ASJP platform.
Stage 3: If both reports are positive for publishing the article, they will be sent anonymously to the author. The author must consider the suggested recommendations, if any (regarding format or content). If one report is negative, a third evaluation will be conducted by another reviewer to provide a final opinion.
Stage 4: After receiving the final version of the article, the editorial team will review it to ensure that the reviewers' recommendations have been followed. A copy of this article will be sent to the reviewers for confirmation.
If the author does not adhere to the recommendations, the article will be returned to them again, giving them the opportunity to resubmit it according to the recommendations; otherwise, the article will be definitively rejected.
- Monitoring the Article's Status on the Platform
Through their account on the platform, the author can continuously track the status of their article to see the progress of the review and publication process. By clicking on the "Articles" icon and then on "Submitted Articles," a table will appear containing all the information related to the article: title, submission date, journal name, and article status. The article goes through several stages:
- Acceptance or rejection of the review process;
- Article awaiting review;
- Assigning the article to reviewers;
- Reviewers' decision to accept, reject, or request revisions.
- Publishing the Article on the Platform and Adding References
Once the article is accepted, the author will receive a notification. The author is then required to log in to their ASJP account and add the references cited in the article according to the format specified by the Algerian Scientific Journals Platform (ASJP) by following these steps:
- Click on the "Articles" icon and then "Submitted Articles." A table containing the article details will appear: title, submission date, journal name, evaluation details, and references.
- To start the reference entry process, click on the "References" icon and then on the "Add Reference" icon.
- Select the "Reference Type" according to the available options (Article, Conference, Thesis, Book, Book Chapter, Web Page);
- Choose the reference type and complete all its details. Click on the "Add" icon, and repeat the process until all references are entered correctly.
- If the author is unable to enter all the references at once, they should click on the "Save" icon to continue from where they left off.
- After completing the process, the author must click on the "Finish" icon.
Never click on the "Finish" icon unless you have entered all the references.
This indicates to the Editor-in-Chief that you have completed the process of entering the references so they can verify their accuracy and ensure they match those cited in the article.
If the references entered on the platform do not match those mentioned in the article, the Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to reject them, and the entry process will have to be repeated. The article will not be scheduled for publication until all discrepancies are resolved.
- Submission of the Commitment Letter
Once the article is accepted, the author is required to send a mandatory commitment letter, which can be downloaded from the journal's website on the platform under the "Author Guide" section as a compressed file. The commitment letter must be signed by all the authors involved in the research and sent to the journal's Email: levejournal@gmail.com & revue.leve@univ-batna.dz
- Addressing Commitment
Scientific plagiarism, in all its forms, constitutes behavior that is contrary to the journal's ethics. Any author found to have violated this rule will be permanently barred from publishing in the journal.
