Abstract

The study aimed to identify to which extent secondary school teachers in the governorates of Gaza commit to educational values and its relationship to classroom control they have. The researcher followed the descriptive approach in which he surveyed the study population in a comprehensive survey. The total study population has reached (149) male and female secondary school principals and managers in Gaza governorates. The researcher used the questionnaire as a tool for the study that involved the following dimensions: (integrity, transparency, justice and tolerance, work proficiency, Human and social responsibility and class control problems). The most important results of the study is that The total score for the “principals” study sample’s appreciation for the degree of commitment of secondary school teachers in Gaza governorates to educational values was high. Additionally, there is a positive direct correlation between the average estimates of school principals to the degree of commitment of secondary school teachers in Gaza governorates to educational values and the average of their estimates of the degree of classroom control.
