The role of the Internet of things in reopening tourist destinations during the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

 is always facing crises that push it to develop itself. today because of the pandemic of Covid 19 the use of the Internet of Things technology has become more required for the tourists to manage that pandemic because it allows achieving the conditions of social distancing imposed to limit the spread of the pandemic. In this study, we try to show how can the tourism and travel industry can benefit so much from the Internet of Things technology to facilitate the routine tasks of hotel management and travel agencies like reservation and payment without the need for human-human interaction, and how can the Internet of Things technology enables tourists to control the internet-connected devices and services in hotels or seats when travelling through a mobile phone.
