This study aims to identify the role of the information technology system Progres in improving the quality of service provided at the university, as the study was conducted at the University of Kasdi Merbah, Ouargla and the Directorate of University Services in Ouargla, In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a half-open interview was conducted with a group of executives at the University of Ouargla, as well as the Directorate of University Services in Ouargla who used this system. The interview was conducted with 05 professors and 05 university employees, as well as 05 employees in the University Services Directorate. We also used the observation method whenever we had the opportunity. The study concluded that there is a large and effective role for the progres system in improving the quality of service provided in the University Services Directorate; However, there are shortcomings and complaints in this system recorded at the University of Ouargla.
