Apply Total quality management as a strategy to upgrade the higher education sector - Display international and arab experiences

Abstract

Overall quality management has received a lot of attention in many sectors, including higher education, which is the focus of sustainable developement, especially in light of current challenges, as higher education institutions have sought to ensure quality of their outputs, develop their educationa systems and develop academic standars to upgrade this sector. This paper aims at clarifying the concept of comprehensive quality managrment in the higher education sector and indicating the importance of its application, highlighting a series of leading international and arab experiences in applying this principle in its universities, this is through answering the following problem with the steps and requirements of applying comprehensive quality management in higher education institutions for the selected experiences ?, and by adopting the descriptive and analytical approach in dealing with this topic. in addition to the fact that the company has a strong interest in the quality of its products and services, it has also been able to increase its productivity and develop its educational systems higher education.
