The issue of Educational institutions in south-western Algeria during the modern period ) the AH 10th and 11th centuries AH/16th and 17th CE( is of great importance, especially if we know that its effects were severe on Algerian society in all fields. As these institutions worked, thanks to those in charge of them, to spread the teachings of the Islamic religion, memorize the Book of God, teach students and followers spiritual education, and brain.
These noble roles left the good impact on the hearts of the Algerians, so they worked hard to build them and competed in the construction of them in terms of expression and interest of them in science and scholars. There are many and varied religious institutions like mosques, corners, katibs, quranic schools and endowments or aoukaf…We shall be known about them and the various roles that they contributed to south-western Algeria during this period through our article.
