An Investigation of the incident of Tariq Bin Ziyad’s burning of the prisoners in his conquest of Andalusia

Abstract

This article is an investigation into an incident attributed to a Muslim commander, Ṭāriq ibn Ziyād the Conqueror of  Al-Andalus, according to which he killed the prisoners of war and then burned their corpses, which are not exhaustive.This incident was mentioned in the three previous sources, and the article concluded that this incident was nullified in two ways, sanad and matan.
