The efforts of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Muntasir Billah Al-Kettani in the face of Orientalism

Abstract

It is no secret to the people of the truth the importance of inviting to God Almighty in every age، and the need for it in the present age is more crucial، and this invitation will influence dogmas and intellectual trends، and it will be under the attack of political and social influences، and it will be obstructed and disturbed by conspiracies and external and internal machinations، and it requires from us to have a comprehensive depth of knowledge  and a complete maturity، and insights of the experiences of the precedents، and methodologies of the well-established scholars who have made tremendous efforts، and confronted the currents and influences affecting the nation، and the study of their efforts to confront destructive ideas، and the Western methods that aim to fight Islam and its people، and to fragment the unity of the Islamic nation، such as westernization، orientalism and others. This study aims to introduce the efforts of one of the flags of the contemporary Islamic Maghreb، Sheikh Muhammad Al-Muntasir Billah Al-Kettani، may God have mercy on him، were brought closer to confront Orientalism and the fabrications of its people.
