This research is concerned with highlighting the position of Judge Ibn Al-Qassar in the Maliki school of thought, especially among the Malikis of Iraq, and also explaining the sources of inference and his approach according to Ibn Al-Qassar, and whether he followed the curriculum that distinguished the Iraqi school or disagreed with it in that.
The results of the research revealed that Judge Ibn Al-Qassar was one of the most prominent scholars of the Maliki school in general and the Iraqi school in particular, and he also followed the Iraqi school approach in the sources of inference and in the approach followed in presenting and arranging evidence.
