This study aims to uncover the reasons and motives that drove a man to polygamy, and the implications this system leaves behind in marriage, considering polygamy as a religious system. Islam is not a form of this type of marriage. Rather, peoples practiced it before Islam without restrictions or restrictions, the Islamic religion is its restriction. He defined it with four wives and conditions, but due to the absence of religious and economic culture, some societies have come to reject this system because of its effects. Fundamental to the formation of society, and through this analytical study, we try to determine the underlying motives behind polygamy, and the repercussions it has on the family.
