Poetics aims to research the linguistic system of literary texts in order to explore the semantic patterns hidden in the text, so that the reader can sneak into the depths of the text, guided by a scientific methodology that combines linguistics and literary science, and employing a set of scientific and literary theories that help him to explore the different dimensions contained within the text. The title, as a parallel text, reduces the meaning of the text and presents it to the reader, pressurized and burdened with a number of functions and roles, and at the same time open to interpretive reading that does not stop at the limits of interpretation that provides ready meanings, but searches in the depths of the text for endless connotations that prolong the readability of the text. This research is an analytical approach to the poetics of the title in the novel of Askram's Confessions, which aims to reveal the semantic links between the title and the text, and to show the effect of the title in building that semantic structure
