This study aims to explore the features of Quranic-text coherence in accordance with the
cognitive and methodological mechanisms that al-Zarkashi presented in his book al-Burhan fi
Ulum al-Qura’n. The study follows the descriptive-analytical methodology in light of the
developments that modern textual linguistics has brought about. The study presents the question
of the Quranic-text coherence through the Munasabah science. The results have revealed the
mechanisms by which the Quranic-text coherence is achieved from the author’s perspective,
and that Munasabah has a prominent importance in achieving that coherence, and that this is
considered as a feature of Quranic miracles.
