Abstract

The research seeks to shed light on the Qur’anic vocabulary in Al-Shinqeeti’s interpretations - Adwa’ Al-Bayan and Al-Athab Al-Numair - and the ranks it goes through when interpreted. This is done by presenting examples from both codes of description and analysis, and adopting the stages that the Qur’anic vocabulary passes through when it is interpreted. They are: the etymological origin of the Quranic term, then the predominant usage among the Arabs, then the Quranic context, followed by the legal term, and finally the Quranic term.
