Unknown aspects of the life of Sheikh Al-Tayeb Al-Uqbi in the Hijaz Between (1895-1920 AD) Through a rare journalistic text in Al-Qibla newspaper

Abstract

This research aims to reveal other aspests of the unknown life of cheikh Al Tayeb Al Uqbi despite his great services for the intellectual and cultural renaissance in Algria since his return from the Hijaz in 1920 until his death in 1960 .

The researcher stands in front of many questions regarding many stations of his life that are still ambiguous, including the period of stay in the Hijaz between 1895 and 1920 and his participation in the cultural and political life in it, the sources are still scarce and do not provide us with a complete picture of his journalistic and reform activities at this stage, but we obtained a rare text published in the Qibla newspaper that clarified some of those unknown aspects.
