Narrative identity between concept and vision

This paper seeks to review the concept of identity in the light of the development of humanities and the openings of knowledge and methodology, and to bring the concept to mind we have tried to dig in its manifestations and follow the movement of its development in various cognitive times, to find out its origins and dimensions and accumulations and then we look for it in Greek philosophy and then we went through the Arab –Islamic civilization during its thriving ages. In the philosophy and mysticism of Arab and Muslim philosophers, highlighting the elements of agreement and disagreement among them…In general, the aim of this survey was to examine the extent to which this concept and its forms and the course it took within the processes of the history of philosophical thought within a modernist approach converging the meaning of identity according to integrated dimensions and various: historical philosophical, cultural and literary.
