The explanatory approach to Imam Abi Bakr Al-Qafal Al-Shashi Al-Kabir through his book "Mahasin Al- Sharia" in the Shafi'ite branches

Abstract

The study aims to explain the method of explanation of Imam al- Qaffal al-Shaashi alKabir through his book The Benefits of Sharia in the Shafi’i branches, as well as the most
important principles he adopted in that, in addition to highlighting the features of this scientific
personality known for its high heel in science, and the breadth of perceptions in the
understanding of Sharia
In this, the researcher followed the methodology of clarifying, rooting and complicating
its origins, which helped to obtain a unique approach of Imam al-Qaffal al-Shashi in his book
al-Mahasin, especially what was related to his intentional explanations of jurisprudential issues,
and what he brought out of the meanings of those issues, considering them to clarify the
purposes, judgment and interests that the Shariah took into account in its provisions. Whether
in terms of overall or in terms of detail, based on a set of principles and rules such as general
purposes and the branches and rules that fall under them, and perhaps the most important of
them is to activate the rule of "custom and custom" in his explanations, as shown in its place.
