The National Movement Newspapers were not just means of media news, but was primarily the means of political struggle and national, regarding respect to the events of May 1945 on the one hand talked about the "colonial plot" the city of the perpetrators of massacres against the Algerians, and demand the punishment of colonial officials who committed these massacres. On the other hand, it fought for the liberation of prisoners and the release of all detainees in application of the substance of the amnesty law in March 1946. In addition, in order to alleviate the suffering of the victims' families, the National Movement providing material aid to those affected and provide for orphaned children.
