The foundations of media education for children under the threat of cybercrime

Abstract

This research aims to identify the great danger of cybercrime on the Internet to the child, whose dangers are increasing every day, in light of the developments of the digital revolution, and identify the role of media education in the face of Internet threats, Through the identification of the nature of the electronic crime that threatens the child and their characteristics, patterns and risks, and the definition of prevention mechanisms for various institutions of socialization within the so-called media education, the research ended with a number of recommendations, such as the need to guide the child to use the Internet properly, which has the content and sites and techniques variety, for protecting him from falling into the risk of cybercrime.
