Abstract

The research raises a fundamental problem about Ibn Hazm's scientific and intellectual contributions to the Islamic civilization. Ibn Hazm is one of the most important and distinguished figures in Islamic history. He served the Islamic civilization with his new scientific approaches and his view of the sciences, thanks to which he possesses al-Qiraihah and his insightful thought. Ibn Hazm has the strength of this doctrine, i.e., the apparent doctrine, to make it the basic nucleus in his study of jurisprudence, in the fundamentals, in history and in beliefs. Ibn Hazm had a great role in giving the aesthetic character of the Islamic civilization. What are the foundations and ideas that Ibn Hazm relied on in the service of the Islamic civilization? How was Ibn Hazm able to bring to it new approaches in politics, jurisprudence, logic, history, sociology, and

others?

Dealt with the subject in two main topics, the first of which is related to Ibn Hazm's social, political and scientific life, and the second is related to Ibn Hazm's scientific and intellectual contributions to Islamic civilization (what is related to the science of history, political and ideological thought ...).What can be concluded is that Ibn Hazm was exceptional in the study of sciences, through his methodology of study and division. This is what we discern through his view of history and sociology.
