Ideology and Novel

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to give the definition of Ideology as a term for the theoricians who treated it through the so closed relationship of it with the ruling class and the ruled one; then the difference between Ideology and Utopia, and the relation of it with novels.

The research deduced at the end that Ideology rules reality, while utopia goes beyond it, and most novels, including Algerian ones are loaded with ideological tendency.
