The Role Of Tourism Investment In The Development Of The Algerian Economy

Abstract

This study aims to identify the nature of tourism investment, and show the importance and the role of touristic sector in supporting development of the Algerian economy, by addressing the contribution of tourism to GDP, in addition to its contribution to providing job opportunities directly or in total , and to address the reality of tourism investment in Algeria, by using the analytical descriptive approach,  Although Algeria has enormous tourism potential, the tourism sector has not been able to achieve the expected efficiency of employment opportunities and contribute to the gross output and has not been able to improve the standard of living of individuals.
