This research aims to reveal a part of the approach taken by the early grammarians in their interpretation of the linguistic phenomena in the Qur'an, so that their works and their linguistic blogs of the Qur'anic linguistic text, such as books of meanings and metaphors, became the seeds of a wide wave afterwards in the field of interpretation, known as the direction or method of language in the interpretation of the Qur'an. The grammarians relied on a set of linguistic explanatory mechanisms based on the idea of agreement between the eloquent texts and the grammatical rules. These interpretative works are known as the meanings of the Qur'an and its expressions, in which the expression was intertwined with the meanings of the Qur'an as a tool of understanding the Qur'anic meaning.
