The Effects of Urban Growth on the Dynamics of the Urban Area of the Algerian City

Abstract

The city is the geographical area where shapes, urban structures, events and activities practiced by the population intersect. The interaction of these structures with events ultimately constitutes an urban area. However, this urban area remains confined to several factors, which may negatively or positively reflect on the city’s process in the light of the various changes that affect society and urbanization in general from one hand, on the other hand, issues of urban growth, such as transport, housing, population density, pollution, heterogeneity, and urban growth. The current research attempts to investigate the relations that link the urban area of the Algerian city with the dynamic urban growth in terms of the effects that the latter has on the city area.
