Abstract

Often people pay attention to the political and sectarian history of the Almohad state, and turn a blind eye to the pedagogical and educational aspect. Although some have dealt with it in a reductionist manner that has no connection to the political aspect, the Almohad rulers, in fact, mixed in their educational approach their political goals and sectarian orientations. Even if it did not appear clearly and explicitly, it permeated their educational curricula, as the Almohad state, from the beginning of its call, arose on the basis of knowledge that was evident in the person of its founder, Al-Mahdi Ibn Tumart, and the efforts he made towards his companions, enjoining good and forbidding evil, Teaching boys Islamic science, in addition to other sciences, without which the affairs of the state cannot be carried out according to a methodological and scientific basis, The research paper also aims to know the truth about the educational curricula that the Almohads embodied in order to establish their state and Strengthen their support and then consolidate their principles and ideas, and know the relationship between them in order to benefit from them in reviving the life of the Islamic state and Islamic civilization in our current era.
