The significance of my intervention, labeled "Textual Structuring in the Message of Al-Sahil and Al-Shahj by Abu Al-Ala Al-Ma'arri in 449 AH," lies in the conceptualization of narrative genres in the Arabic heritage. These genres manifest in various forms such as poetry, sermons, biographies, news, stories, and many types of humorous poetry. This is done in a purposeful and aesthetically meaningful manner for multiple intended purposes. It involves tracing the textual structure in the message of Al-Sahil and Al-Shahj by Abu Al-Ala Al-Ma'arri as an approach to narrative in the Arab heritage to assess the achievement of its textual standards. It also involves tracing the signs and textual criteria that shape the narrative discourse, highlighting its key features and characteristics.
