The efforts made to pay attention to the objectives of Sharia in the modern era still require more critical consideration and evaluation
Activating the important role of objectives in understanding legal texts and deriving rulings on the one hand, and avoiding paths of excess and confusion on the other hand.
In the first section, this research attempted to monitor the points of downplaying the role of objectives represented in issues of inference and derivation of rulings.
The second section was concerned with monitoring the points of exaggeration of objectives in terms of exaggerating their categories and types, and using them as evidence, while finding objectives whose claims are not valid.
One of the most important results was the necessity of activating the objectives according to the approach of the ancients, who cared about application and representation, and were not preoccupied with the abundance of theorizing and strictness that made the objectives lose their role in controlling diligence and understanding texts.
