The wide spread of the endowment phenomenon and its economic role in preserving and developing wealth, and its social role in meeting the needs of many groups of Turkish society, as is the case with the Al-Nour Jama’at whose foundations were laid by the eminent Imam Badi’ al-Zaman Saeed Nursi (may God have mercy on him), and which spread throughout the world, The endowment had a great impact on the revenues of the properties of its stand-alone benefactors and good people among the followers of the group and other people of righteousness and benevolence among the Turkish Muslims.
