Abstract

From this point of view, the importance of these free schools is evident, That's where most reformers have sought it To convey cultural thought to the Algerian people, Highlighting religious, cultural and social principles and values. And this is what the school of "Dar al-Qur'an" in The Beni Hdiyel area (Ain Ghoraba) in Tlemcen, Where the people of the region sought to highlight their cultural and social unity, Affected by correctional education The one who used to be at Dar al-Hadith school in Tlemcen, This effect that was evident in those educational lessons and cultural activities That was attended by the people of the region. This reform activity was a concern for the colonial administration which she saw as a danger to her colonial project in Algeria, And so i imposed all kinds of sanctions and restrictions On the activities of Arab education schools, And set up all the obstacles and difficulties to thwart the project of building and establishing, Nevertheless, the Association of Muslim Scholars continued its project to build Arab education schools Not only in cities, but even in some areas and villages, And that's what the case of "Dar al-Qur'an" school was like Which took responsibility for reviving the national identity of the region.
