The phenomenon of Sufism arose and spread in the Touat region, when Islamic scholars,
scholars and elders from Sufism came From different regions of the Islamic world carrying
religious, social and civilizing ideas with them to embody them in the field. The purposes of
building the earth and their foundation for palaces and zaouia in its different forms, styles,
architectural and urban characteristics
Sufi architecture has contributed to the emergence of Sufism elders under the influence
of a number of religious, social, economic and environmental factors, establishing buildings
and cities, and building art with its own patterns, forms and engineering for the Touat region,
and it includes types of buildings such as palaces, zaouias, mosques, Quranic schools, and
shrines.
