Algeria is known for its scholars. This research paper attempts to shed light on one of its well-known scholars i.e ABLEWAHED BEN
AHMED ELWANCHARICI who was born and died, towards the end of the 10th century Hidjri, in Fess - Morrocco.

The research paper tries to closely examine some aspects of his social and scientific life, trying to highlight his scientific activity such as writing, teaching and some of his political activity such as writing political documents along with his endeavours to reconcile between states.
