Abstract

This study’s aim is to highlight the sheikh of Islam, al-Maliki Ibn Ashour’s way of criticism, in his book " Kachf al-moghata min almaàni wa al-alfadh al-wakiàa fi al-muwatta " ( Revealing the covered meanings and words in the muwatta) , where he criticized and drew attention to a number of the statements that are contained in it. It has been shown through his reports that he has a unique way which can be summed up the following: his criticism has got over to some of the great imams’ statements,
He did not exclude the imams of the language where specified a series of criticism for them, based on his criticisms he accepted a
number statements and denied some other, in his piece of work he has used a various of different words and statements that show his solid criticism knowledge, Which qualifies his method to be a model in criticizing and correcting the rest of our scientists’ books in different arts, and the study included some models of his choices, that was adjusted and the statements that needed to be verified and revised ,it was all to clarify and highlight his criticizing way.
