Abstract

 What is noticeable in contemporary reality is the prevalence of extremist thought and the emergence of sharp tendencies in thought and behavior, which led to the emergence of complex problems that obstructed the course of life and disturbed the relations between people, and even spread these problems even to international relations between nations and peoples. The ignorance of illiteracy and the spread of intellectual and cultural illiteracy have had a great impact on the emergence of these trends, including ignorance of the history and laws that God has established the system of life and relations between people and between peoples and communities. This article is an attempt to demonstrate the role of knowledge of history and life in the building of the middle thought and distance from intellectual extremism in the lives of Muslims.
