Abstract

The aim of this paper is to deal with the problem of food in Algeria steemed from its dependence on foreign markets in providing many food products to feed its people, due to deficiency on domestic level. The evolution of food imports and exports were analysed and showed great disorders which proove that food security in Algeria still needs more to be done.
