Abstract

Hadith studies have special characteristics. Hadith Scholars have paid particular attention to authenticating the narrations. Many books have been published about the accuracy of written as well as verbal Hadith narrations. They have related the Asaaneed in a way that reflects the different ways of narration. For instance, Hadith scholars have studied the difference of narration in the different available manuscripts. Some Hadith narrations have become famous due to the effort made by the scribes in presenting or comparing the manuscripts. It is also due to their effort in observing accuracy and preventing falsification. All these measures should be taken into consideration when examining the Hadith manuscripts. In this paper, I am presenting the Hadith Manuscript Investigation-related problems that might face researchers and in particular, those who want to do their post-graduate thesis in this field.
