Ayyubid history has been dominated by a military character, since Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi took power until the killing of Turan Shah (549-648H/1174-1250 AD), the last Ayyubid ruler in Egypt, we find that wars are the main feature of this state. And superior skill in leading armies and great efficiency in directing battles, as well as plans and methods of combat that The ingenuity of the Ayyubids was embodied and manifested in it, which formed a model worth mentioning by studying and paying attention to military and strategic considerations and what can be inspired by plans and strategies in terms of fighting tools, division of armies, and methods of attack and defense. The Ayyubids in terms of the organization of the army and the ware fare for both circumstances.
