The role of Language test in evaluating Learner's Linguistic competence

The educational assessment used to judge the success of the educational act in its various components. The research will focus on a special type called language tests. Which aims at measuring a language learner's performance in specific language skills and judging his control of the language system, by evaluating his knowledge of the rules of this language and the controls of its use, by focusing on his linguistic behavior that reflects his language skills.
It also aims to highlight the characteristics of different linguistic tests from the quantification tests. And attainment tests, demonstrating their relevance and the objectives of each of the language tests that affect their different elements, and language skills tests, while trying to identify and determine the most important means of practice of these types.
The research concluded that linguistic tests of different types are complementary to the single goal of a learner's achievement of a perceived linguistic outcome, and also helps the teacher to assess the learner's possession of the linguistic competence necessary for the learning act.
