Abstract

Chetma is a oasis is one of Ziban's subsidiary oases and the Biskra area specifically s economic resources and its linkage between Biskra and Oras, thus empowering it to participate in several political and military events during the liberation revolution, Which need study and proof to reveal a lot of its facts The region has played an important role in the Algerian national movement thanks to its children. Most of them belonged to the independent movement, this political affiliation that helped them to participate in the first organizations to blow up the liberation revolution. Having been affiliated to the First Region prior to its reorganization after the Fasting Conference, and placed under the leadership of the Sixth Mandate, This allowed her to contribute to the supply and arming of the revolution, through several committees for the collection of funds, subscriptions and communications. Her mujahideen also participated in many battles and ambushes for the French enemy.
