In this study, I try to shed light on some of the practices of the French administration in Tunisia within the framework of its colonial policy, and this policy relates to the naturalization of Tunisians with French citizenship and granting them the status of French citizenship, given that this policy (the policy of naturalization) aims to increase the number of Tunisian recruits in the French army, in addition to draining one class alone, this class is in the service of France in order to achieve the colonial project. I also try, in this study, to show the effects of the naturalization policy on the Tunisian national struggle and social life in Tunisia.
