Legal protection of women's political rights under national legislation

In protecting and promoting women's political rights, Algeria relied on legal and institutional mechanisms, and it also worked to develop these mechanisms and remove obstacles, in order to allow women to assume high positions in the country, by expanding women's chances in elected councils, in the belief that achieving women's political participation It is the embodiment of democracy, and a means to eliminate all forms of discrimination against it, and thus achieve social justice through true political representation of all segments of society.
