Traffic accidents occur and happen before our eyes every day and every hour. By committing a traffic accident and creating civil liability based on the insurance contract previously concluded, the field opens up for the application of the legal system to estimate the compensation due to the person injured in a traffic accident. Compensation for the person injured in traffic accidents is directly paid to the injured party by the insurer of the vehicle that caused the accident. In principle, and based on the principle of general guarantee adopted by the Algerian legislator in the field of compensation for traffic accidents, every person injured in a traffic accident benefits from compensation, with the exception of some cases in which direct guarantee is dropped.
