The Policy Of Criminalization And Punishment To Deal With The Crime Of Embezzlement In Accordance With Algerian Law N° 06-01

Abstract

Corruption is proliferating in all countries of the world. Indeed, it has become a phenomenon that requires the synergy of efforts of all states to counter it. Thus, Algeria has acceded and ratified several anti- corruption treaties and dedicated a standalone law to the crimes related to it, dubbed law No. 06-01 on the prevention and fight against corruption. Among these crimes, we can note embezzlement in both the private and public sectors.
