Abstract

The article studies the Saudi foreign policy in light of the challenges that were involved in the unstable regional environment within the so-called "Arab Spring".

The importance of this article is that deals with a key state in the Middle East, and the serious challenges it faces in an unstable environment. Such a dilemma heavily affects all strategic dimensions and interactions in the region.

The study concluded that the realization of the new Saudi decision-maker, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, was more adaptive to regional changes, by adopting a more effective policy according to a vision commensurate with the Kingdom's political, economic and religious influence.
