Causes and Factors Aggravating the Crisis of Criminal Justice in Algeria

Abstract

The crisis of law and justice requires the search for another model of justice, based on the establishment of alternative modes of conflict resolution, in which the State must adopt new models and types of social control.

The Penal Code remains the only weapon that governs relations and behaviour in society, as regards the fundamental interests of society and its protection against any threat or attack, and the privileged means of controlling the negative uses of current developments, the phenomenon of legislative inflation will persist and continue to hamper the justice system.
